Austin shut the door with a pained sigh, ignoring the heckles.
“Well so much for a quiet night alone.”
He walked over and wrapped his arms around me, letting the bed cover fall around his feet.
“Sorry.”
“It's okay. We've got a long time together.”
“We do, starting right now in the shower.”
I chuckled, dropping the sheet to the bed and wandering into the bathroom, completely naked and under the watchful eye of a clearly bewitched man.
The water ran over me as I picked the last of the peeled, dead skin from my body. Well, the parts that I could see at least. His hands washed over my back, soft and silky from the soap. Austin pushed me against the wall, keeping his hands at the curve of my neck as we kissed under the water. Slowly I dragged my fingers down his torso, running through the line of definition. Like he read my mind, his hips moved to me in anticipation. Teasing me with his hardened cock in between my legs, the bastard. I pulled it away with a few teasing strokes, soft murmurs of appreciation were muffled in our kiss.
“Don't stop.” he begged against the skin of my neck.
I loved the feeling of having him in my hand, sliding the skin back and forth. Working him into a frenzy. I could feel how close he was, the pressure was building. His lips moved over my wet skin as the water cascaded over us.
Austin stilled, his lips still pressed against my neck and his breath held. With a muffled moan that was almost like a growl a flood of warmth hit my stomach. I smiled broadly, continuing to stroke him until he pulled my hand away.
There was a thumping at the main door, someone telling us to hurry up because dinner had arrived. Austin grinned darkly as his hand slipped between my legs, searching through the folds.
“Open more Abigail.” he whispered huskily.
I obliged him and enjoyed the pressure of his thumb that circled me, stopping only for his fingers to slide into me.
“Later, I'm going to make you scream as I lick you here.”
The thumb circled, replaced by fingers.
“I'm going to suck it.” he nuzzled against my neck, suckling on the skin.
My body tingled, feeling the sensations building fast. It was surprising to say the least. I've never been with a guy that could find the right spot on a me. It was more of a self-exploratory thing in my opinion. But Austin had it, if he knew or if he had lucked out, I didn't know. Nor did I care.
My body heaved with the orgasm, shuddering as I collapsed against him in a wave of breathy moans.
“That wasn't loud enough. I want the entire hotel to know I've rocked your world.”
I laughed as he held me under the water, drowning us in the warm spray.
Austin was right. I did like Frankie. In fact, I liked all of his friends. Even the almost ice like assistant was fun. Eden had been their assistant for about two weeks now and already she had them pinned under her thumb and wasn't letting go. Frankie said that in the little time that she had known these guys, it was necessary. They were definitely off the scale when it came to misbehaving. Eden allowed them their freedom to a certain degree. Keeping them out of jail was her main priority because apparently they end up there a lot.
The most recent jail time was the night that Frankie met Curtis. She was a waitress in Las Vegas and he had been secretly watching her for a couple of months. I didn't want to start sounding any alarm bells but it was very stalker-ish. Not that me going into the jungle with a complete stranger was any better. So the story of Curtis and Frankie's beginning was a little romantic, they certainly looked at each other with love in their eyes. Curtis had defended her when a customer treated her like dirt, after a few punches and a whole lot of broken things Frankie was fired and the band was in jail.
I found it a little surprising that none of them seemed too concerned about it, though it was likely that they would have the best lawyers their money could buy. Curtis was the only one to have a girlfriend and I suppose Austin now too. Jaxon, Evan and Fraser were happy to lead the life of a free man. I didn't want to dwell on the past or more specifically, Austin's past. It wasn't as if I was an angel either. The status of our relationship had been discussed after the shower. I wasn't an idiot, I knew how things went for those that were musically gifted and famous for it. We agreed that monogamy was essential and we were not going to debate what defined sexual contact. It had to be the most bizarre conversation I'd ever had. But in the end it was a little relieving, though I still don't know why. We agreed that anything beyond a kiss on the cheek was adulterous after all, we had to be sociable, right?
Five second rule for hugs. Crazy, I know but that was Austin's doing. No hands below the belt, no flashing any goods of any kind. Phone numbers, advances and offers refused. Past dalliances removed from the phone books on our phones, groupies ignored.
Oh yes, the groupies. They had brought some up with them. Obviously not caring that this wasn't their hotel suite, they brought some lovely and rather under dressed women with them. Now I understood why Austin was so insistent on the rules for our love.
They walked in and made a bee line to him. In an instant he held up our interlocked hands and offered his apology because he was taken. I was given the look of pure hatred and death and they stalked the other band members. Well not Curtis. Frankie sitting on his lap put a kibosh on that one.
Every time one even looked in our direction, the hands came up. My arm was about to fall off from over use. The only time he relented was when we sat on the lounge next to Curtis and Frankie. And like them, I was on Austin's lap. I didn't think it was possible that a rock star would be so anti-groupie like this but it seemed that Austin was.
Our dinner was on the dining table behind us being picked at by everyone. Sensibly, they had ordered several platters of nibble type food rather than actual plates of meals. The coffee table in between the two double lounges was littered with bottles of alcohol. Evan and Jaxon were on the other lounge, a woman in between them and two on each side. Fraser was in the corner making Monique giggle as he whispered what was probably the funniest joke she had ever heard.
Everyone on this lounge was drinking bottles of water, on the other side it was nothing but alcohol. It was rather peculiar but I chose not to dwell on it. Austin and Curtis were talking about the pros and cons of a quickie wedding. Apparently it was a plausible suggestion to Curtis until Frankie reminded him of a conversation they'd had with her father.
“Ooh, met the in-laws already.” Austin chuckled.
Frankie rolled her eyes. They seemed like a crazy mix, he was tall and she was short. He was pure muscle and she like me, had bits of the excessive love of sugar on show. Curtis had a soft tan and Frankie was pale. Her brown hair was dark and had a wave through it that was enviable. She was killing the girlfriend of a rock star look, short skirt and ankle boots that had a heel that could do serious damage. The shirt was loose and fell off one shoulder, which no matter how many times Curtis lifted it back up, it fell off again.
“Yeah Frankie's family is fine, hey babe?”
“Yep.” she said dryly.
“Oh you didn't.” Austin sat up from his seat, almost making me fall off.
His arm rounded my waist to keep hold of me as he stared in disbelief.
“We did. After one verbal smack down I kicked them out for good.”
Austin flopped back down to the chair, murmuring a good under his breath.
The mood in the room had died considerably, aside from the giggles from the corner.
“Well, we are going.” Evan declared.
“Yup.” Jaxon nodded, standing up.
There was a collective whine between the women who had been sitting with them.
“Oh you can come with us.” Evan offered.
Their eyes brightened and they stood up, pushing their skirts back to a more respectable level. I didn't want to know.
“Fras, you coming?”
“Nah, me an 'niq are going to give the springs a work ou
t.”
Monique giggled and took him by the hand and led him into the bedroom. Well good on you, girlfriend. Talk about setting a goal and achieving it quickly.
“Take that shit with you.” Austin grumbled as he nodded his head at the table. “Don't leave a single drop behind.”
“Eden's good for it.” Evan frowned as he looked around the room. “Where's Eden?”
“Gone to bed an hour ago. Clean up your mess.”
He huffed and started collecting the empties, passing them to the women who were only too obliging to help. I bet if he guaranteed bed time with him they'd do all the work. Within the minute the bottles of alcohol both full and empty were gone, as was Evan, Jaxon and the groupies.
“We might be off too. Not sure I want to hear Fraser and his mating dance.” Curtis grinned madly as he stood, setting Frankie to her feet. “Don't feel the slightest bit envious of you two.”
Austin chuckled as he followed them to the door. When they were through and the door was closed, he leaned on it with a devious look. One that could destroy a chastity belt.
“Got your own mating dance to do Austin?” I grinned as I got up from the lounge and sauntered to the bedroom door.
He nodded and followed after me.
“I do believe that I said that I was going to make you scream.” he grinned as he closed the bedroom door. “Prepare to scream so hard that you are going to lose your voice.”
Chapter Fourteen
I hugged Monique for what had to be the tenth time in as many minutes. She offered a wry smile as she slung her bag over her shoulder.
“I want constant updates. Lots of pictures and details. And make sure you tell me how the visit to your parents goes.”
“Yeah, sure.” I grinned.
If I survive.
I leaned over and waived at Benny.
“Thanks for the time off Benster.”
“Thanks for the increase in business Ab.” he smiled crazily. “Make sure you keep telling the world where you used to work.”
I waived him off, he was too crazy for this hour of the morning.
“Tic toc Abigail.” Eden tapped her wrist from the open door by the limousine.
“Gotta go, love you guys.”
I quickly walked through the parting in the crowd, yep I was enemy number one now that I had been identified as Austin's girlfriend. The security was having trouble keeping them back. And the lucky girl that I was, I was being showered with lovely words of endearment. Even poor Frankie suffered, this band was being gripped by girlfriend fever. Two out of the five in a matter of weeks. The fan girls were vying for blood.
I slid along the seat to Austin, his arm reaching around me and pulling me in tight. The three bachelors were up the other end, Curtis and Frankie were on the side seat. I'd met Jerry their manager this morning, he was certainly a lively fellow. He was on the seat beside Curtis talking to someone on his phone. Eden slid onto the seat beside me as one of the security guards closed the door and got into the front with the driver.
We were on our way to the airport, traveling to Las Vegas. I was grateful for Benny who had gone to my apartment and packed everything that was on my list. The rest of my stuff I didn't have to worry about in the short term being that I shared an apartment with Monique.
To say that I wasn't impressed would be an accurate term to state my current mood. I had accepted the job of official photographer to the band that I thought was just an excuse for Austin to bring me along on the tour, not realizing that it was an actual offer. A serious offer that came with a pay packet. One that had been deposited into my account overnight.
Concerning? Yep, you had that one right. They had my bank details and just deposited a butt load of money in there. My bank account had gone from three digits to five. I didn't want to be funded so heavily, worse yet Austin ignored my protests. Complaining to Eden didn't help. She shrugged me off and said that she had to do what she was told and she was told to set up my wages and ensure that I had money to pay my share of the rent so that Monique wasn't left high and dry. Which in itself was ridiculous, she would get a new flatmate and pack my stuff into a few boxes. Maybe. Maybe she might enjoy the year by herself and enjoy the solitude. I know I would.
The plan for the next few weeks was pretty open, aside from a few days here and there of rehearsals there wasn't much that was set in stone. Except of course for the wedding. I had to find a dress, one that was elegant and I'd have Eden to help me with that gruesome task. Time would be found to visit my parents and going back to Florida to spend time with Austin's parents. It was all rather soon but life on the road wouldn't allow for too many variances in the schedule.
Waiting for us at the airport was a sleek white jet, staff scurrying in and out as they prepared for our imminent take off. I could only hope that they had entertainment on this thing. How many hours was it to Las Vegas?
Answer, too many. After the first hour I was ready to admit myself to the asylum. By the second hour I had read every single magazine that was on the plane, not caring how many breasts I saw. If it had an article in it, I had read it. Third hour was spent reading a book that was on the seat opposite us, turns out it was Austin's book. I wasn't really a crime fan but this was a real life one and by the first chapter, I was enthralled. So that kept me occupied for that hour.
Lunch was late because Fraser was in the bathroom with the stewardess. Not sure on how the two of them would have fitted in there considering that Fraser is one big boy. In the end Eden had to thump on the door, we were starving and no one had the key to the cabinet where the food was being kept. Then she proceeded to scold the stewardess and Fraser. It was amusing, he slunk off to his seat and pouted like a petulant child. Then the stewardess went about her duties, shame faced and watched by the icy glare of one pissed off assistant.
We ate lunch in relative silence, the stewardess on her best behavior and Fraser ignoring everyone made for an awkward situation. I guess it provided a little entertainment and by the look on Eden's face, it was only going to get more interesting. Austin's phone pipped, he reached into his pocket and it out. With a little huff he showed it to me.
Jerry: She's broken a rule in her employment contract. Need all to authorise termination.
It was a group messenger app that was set between the band, Jerry and Eden.
Evan: Couldn't give a shit.
Jaxon: Can I get time in the bathroom with her before you kick her out?
Evan: Eww dude, Fraser's been in there. You really want that?
Jaxon: As if you haven't fucked a chick after another man's just been in there.
Fraser: Can we not discuss this please?
Evan: Sure, decide and it's done. Except that someone's missing.
Everyone looked at the closed door at the back of the plane. Curtis and Frankie had disappeared into the bedroom at the back of the plane and hadn't ventured out since.
Austin: Aren't you going to stand up for your woman Fraser? She's on the verge of losing her job because you can't keep it in your pants.
Fraser: She isn't my woman and she knew the consequences. She understood that.
Well that's just cold. Stone cold. I looked at Austin but said nothing. It wasn't my place to interfere.
“So does this mean that all of your employees can't have sex with band members?” I whispered.
“Nah. She's not really an employee. Contractual help or some shit like that.”
Oh good. I'd hate to lose the job that I wanted with the pay that I didn't want just because I was having sex with Austin.
Jerry: Is there a decision in the near future? Curtis, you need to respond as well.
Curtis: You are interrupting my love life. Lucky for you lot I've worn her out so much, she's sleeping. I don't care what you do.
Evan: She fell asleep from boredom dude, not from you wearing her out.
Curtis: Fuck you. At least I'm man enough to commit to one woman for a lifetime instead of being a man whore.
O
h this was interesting. Who needs magazines? Give me the strained relations of band members any day.
Jaxon: Ain't nothing wrong with being a man whore Curtis, I think you've forgotten the past too easily.
Evan: Do you remember that woman in London?
Sniggering broke out between the two of them, I looked at Austin who was smiling. He leaned in to whisper.
“She handcuffed Curtis to the bed and stole everything out of his wallet.”
I chuckled, looking up at Eden who had a slight smile. Clearly she knew the tale.
“So if she's contractual does that mean she's not really fired?” I whispered.
“Kind of. It just means she can't work on our plane. She can go off to other private jets and Fraser can fuck the next one that comes along.”
“So I guess she's not the first, right?”
“Like a revolving door.”
I raised an eyebrow at Fraser who was opposite us, sitting beside Eden. He said nothing, gazing down at his phone.
Jerry: So we've got Evan and Curtis who don't care. Jaxon?
Jaxon: Don't care. Not my dick that's been in there. It's Fraser that she'll go all Fatal Attraction over.
Austin: Good point. We don't need a bunny boiler on flying tin can, hundreds of miles in the sky. She prepares our meals. She has access to the captain.
Curtis: Way to go Fraser. Maybe instead of deciding if we should kick her out we should decide on what brand of chastity belt we're going to buy Fraser.
Evan: Chop it off!!!
Jaxon: Dude, are you going to touch it to do the chopping?
Evan: Nah, Eden's good for it, ain't ya?
Eden: Sure. I'm sure the bunny boiler has a knife or two back there.
The color on Fraser's face dropped a few shades, Eden grinned darkly.
Eden: Any preferences? I personally like the butchers knife but if you want to inflict a long suffering pain I guess I could use a butter knife. Let's vote.
Austin: Butter
Evan: Definitely butter.
Jaxon: I'd prefer a spoon but seeing as it wasn't offered I'd go with butter.
